FAQ

Some questions frequently asked about The Audience Agency

What is The Audience Agency?

We are a national consultancy working with cultural organisations to build audiences and an independent not-for-profit organisation. We have national offices in London and Manchester, with a team of expert consultants across England and Wales using their local knowledge to build relationships, understand needs and deliver services.

Who is the agency for?

We are open to everyone who needs our services, including the visual and performing arts, museums and heritage organisations, libraries and other cultural organisations across England, and we do deliver tactical marketing services for the tourism, leisure and sports sectors too.

Are services paid for?

Mostly yes. However, many resources and top-level intelligence will be freely shared. There are some services that are free such as the nationwide data and audience development tool Audience Finder.

Where does your funding come from?

We are a charitable, not-for-profit organisation generating income from the sale of our services and

intelligence. We are regularly commissioned to deliver strategic projects and services to the cultural sector. We were recently accepted as a Sector Support Organisation by Arts Council England.
