Young Evaluator

Nimah is a Young Evaluator working on the Our Shared Cultural Heritage project in Manchester.

The Our Shared Cultural Heritage project focuses on exploring the shared cultures and histories of the UK and South Asia (mainly the areas that India, Pakistan and Bangladesh cover). The project works with young people aged 11-25 to experiment and create new ways for museums and youth organisations to work together and become better places for young people to explore identity, connect with others and to create new opportunities for young people.

Our Shared Cultural Heritage is a project led by British Council, funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund as one of the Kick The Dust programmes, delivered with partners Glasgow Life, Manchester Museum and UK Youth, with The Audience Agency as the evaluation partner. Nimah is working alongside with The Audience Agency to monitor and evaluate activities, based on the OSCH Activity Plan, the OSCH Evaluation Framework and the Evaluation Toolkit, all of which she helped develop.

Nimah is currently studying towards a Counselling and Psychotherapy BSc (Hons) at university. She is interested in mental health and philosophy, culture, heritage, narration, reading and writing.
