As Director of Consultancy, Penny shapes The Audience Agency's consultancy offer and supports the team's development and delivery. She also delivers consultancy projects for a range of clients including local authorities, funders, national organisations as well as place programmes such as LEEDS 2023, London Borough of Culture, Galway 2020 European Capital of Culture, Creative People and Places and other outdoor arts festivals.
Penny has previously worked at other cultural organisations, including The Royal Court Theatre, The Edinburgh International Film Festival and Edinburgh International Festival.
Having started out with a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology, she strayed into marketing and communications and contemplated life as a sailor. Penny has come full circle and is back to working on investigating culture and community.
