According to the theory, resilience is all about your ability either to “bounce back” – to survive change and preserve the old order – or to “bounce forwards”. Bouncing Forwards is, by contrast, about evolving in the face of change. Innovation means listening, learning and adapting to the new. Change is in the air and new opportunities for more engaged, inclusive and co-creative ways of working abound. In that spirit, we are launching our new support services, all geared towards boosting the sector’s capacity to put the voices of ALL our audiences, visitors and communities at their heart of our recovery.

COVID-19 has accelerated change in all aspects of our lives as never before. In our recent survey, colleagues asked us to help them anticipate that change, looking particularly at:

  • What audiences and communities want next,
  • How to harness digital,
  • When and how to re-open,
  • The new business models we need for the future.

Informed by our work on resilience, we have designed a package of accessible support and insight to help you innovate in the face of new challenges. To bounce, not just back, but forwards.
