Ashleigh has more than 10 years of experience working in museum and education roles in the UK and Canada. She has previously held positions at the National Army Museum, Historic Royal Palaces, UCL, and several community and local authority museums. Ashleigh has worked with a range of key learning audiences in the cultural sector, including schools, families, young people, EAL learners, people with cognitive and physical disabilities, indigenous communities, and elders. She is highly skilled at developing and managing diverse volunteer teams.
She has experience delivering and evaluating large-scale learning and engagement programmes in museums, including an entirely new educational offer for schools and families as part of the National Army Museum’s major HLF-funded redevelopment. She is also an accomplished writer, and regularly contributes articles to Museum Hack and publications such as the AHI Journal.
Ashleigh holds an MA in History from UCL and a BA in History and European Studies from University of Toronto.
