Howard has worked in a marketing capacity in the cultural sector for over 15 years. In this time he has worked with and in a wide range of organisations from small scale arts centres to large producing houses across the UK and Ireland.
As a part of a new build project at the Broadway, Barking in East London Howard oversaw all the setting up and development of all the venue’s marketing functions including a unique audience focused magazine style approach to brochure production and online activities.
In 2006 Howard was appointed Marketing Manager at Chichester Festival Theatre and was jointly responsible for all aspects of the theatre’s marketing strategies including all online and new media development before moving into a Senior Marketing Account Manager role at the live arts agency Target Live, where he looked after the large stable of touring products and specialised in regional touring that included Dirty Dancing – The First Ever National Tour, The Imperial Ice Stars, Stepping Out, Birds of a Feather, The Black Album, Stop Messing About and Dr In The House.
Prior to joining The Audience Agency, Howard was Head of Membership at the Arts Marketing Association.
